Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

*Transdiciplinary: Coordinated interaction and interaction across multiple disciplines resulting in the restructuring of disciplinary knowledge and the creation of new shared knowledge.

**The combining of two or more disciplines professions, departments, usually in regard to practice research education, and theory.

In the case of early childhood centers, is the group of individuals from different disciplines working as a team. This group will share information that can benefit the child/parent achieve an outcome.

Children’s Home + Aid mission is to build a better life for children, youth and families, and in order to accomplish that mission you need to build a good relationship with the families, community and coworkers to help them achieve a goal and solve any immediate problem that they might be facing.

It is important that members of a collaborating group share the vision and purpose of collaboration to solve problems. In order to succeed in this process it is important that members commit themselves to recognize the importance on building relationships.
In your program, each employee occupies a designated role. Every role has expectations. The relationship between each and one of you with others will be the key to effectively fulfill in your role.

After checking the child, The H D C informed the Family Support Specialist that child needs to be sent home. FSS called the parents so they could pick up the child and take him to the doctor.
